A portion of Utagawa Hiroshige's "Fifty-three stations of the Tokaido road" is woven on Nishijin brocade. Gold and platinum foil are used.

Hara was a small inn located in present-day Numazu City and was known as a spot with a spectacular view of Mt. Fuji is depicted protruding from the frame, expressing surprise at its size.

Fuji with snow is interwoven with platinum foil to create the radiance of the morning glow of Fuji, and the kimono of the person in the foreground and the Hiroshige blue used for it are also beautifully reproduced. The gradation of the sky depicted by "Ichimonji Bokashi," one of the techniques used in Ukiyo-e printmaking, is also expressed by the fine Nishijin-ori technique.

Size is without frame.
