《闇月焼 • 雪》寸茶碗 “Dark Moon: Snow” Tall Tea bowl
《闇月焼 • 雪》寸茶碗 “Dark Moon: Snow” Tall Tea bowl
《闇月焼 • 雪》“Dark Moon: Snow” series is a tribute to 月白釉 Moon White Glaze, signature glaze of the 16th generation master of Asahiyaki. Lee explores a contemporary interpretation of the traditional ceramic style. In a contrast to the traditional colors of asahi (morning sun), Lee use the same pale bluish white glaze to decorate black colored tea bowls to imitate moonlit snow under dark nights.
